As Greg Gianforte continues to bet against Montana and its strong economy under Governor Steve Bullock, the Bullock campaign released another misleading claim from Gianforte as part of its #WhopperWednesdays series.
This Wednesday’s “whopper” shows Gianforte misleading Montanans about the business equipment tax. At a campaign event in Libby, Gianforte said “It’s also the case that we did nothing about the business equipment tax.” LINK.
Well, once again the facts are not on Gianforte’s side.
Steve Bullock cut the business equipment tax for all businesses and eliminated it entirely for two-thirds of the businesses that paid it. LINK.
