Governor Steve Bullock stopped in Butte Thursday afternoon to tout his efforts on encouraging small business development in Montana.
Meeting with business representatives at MacKenzie River Pizza, the governor showcased an online service his administration started to help small businesses get started, called The Montana Business Navigator. The service is designed to help new entrepreneurs cut the bureaucracy and red tape of getting started in business.“I’ve talked to a lot of small businesses that say, ‘We’re so busy getting up and running, we don’t have time to figure out what all ways the government can assist and partner.’” This is one way we’re trying to help,” Bullock said.
The governor added that his office wants feedback from the public on the web site and how it can be improved.
